Zusammen mit der lokalen Tauchlegende <a href=\"https:\/\/coins.lakdiva.org.lk\/media\/st_1997.03_mike.wilson.html\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Mike Wilson<\/a> entdeckten sie die heute ber\u00fchmten Surfspots entlang der Westk\u00fcste \u2013 darunter die Linkswelle in der N\u00e4he von Kalutara.<\/span><\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-element elementor-element-6851d88 elementor-widget elementor-widget-text-editor\" data-id=\"6851d88\" data-element_type=\"widget\" data-e-type=\"widget\" data-widget_type=\"text-editor.default\">\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-widget-container\">\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Bald darauf begann sich eine lokale Surfszene zu bilden. Unter der Anleitung von Wilson begannen srilankische Surfer wie Mayura Botejue, Jan Prins und Wendell Flamer Caldera, an der S\u00fcdk\u00fcste an Orten wie Unawatuna, Galle und Ahangama Wellen zu reiten. Ihre Reise wurde sogar in <a href=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/watch?v=0EpqLwgQsho\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">\u201eLocked In\u201c<\/a> (1964), einem der <a href=\"https:\/\/kimasurf.com\/de\/news\/die-besten-surf-filme\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">besten Surf-Filme<\/a>, die je gedreht wurden,
