Massages  at Kima Surf Camps

Rejuvenate  your muscles after surf

Surfing is a fun sport, but it can also be very demanding on your body. That’s why it is important to ensure we take the time to relax and allow our bodies to recover between surf sessions. Kima Surf will help you do this by offering a range of different massages in our Kima Surf Camp in Weligama and Hiriketiya.

Have a massage  for better performance

Surfing is very demanding on our bodies and requires lots of paddling, along with a lot of wipeouts when you are first learning or even for more advanced surfers practising new skills. At the end of a long day of surfing, surfers often experience tight and sore muscles. One sore muscle can have a domino effect by spreading to other parts of our body. It is quite common for new surfers to experience this in their back and shoulders after using muscles their body is not used to using.

This is where a massage is perfect for helping to heal painful muscles. A massage is good for your soul, a great way to relax, and an excellent complement to your training. A massage will help speed up your circulation and bring fresh nutrients into your sore muscles to help with repairing and improving them.

Book the massage  that fits you the best

Our spa is conveniently located in our Weligama surf camp and Hiriketiya Surf Camp, giving a tropical and relaxing feel. You are welcomed by a fresh and calm atmosphere in a cool room with AC. You will be treated with care by one of our well-trained masseuses, who will tailor the massage to your body’s specific needs.

Based on what you need you can choose between a variety of massages, usually lasting between 30 and 90 minutes. Our massages include a head, neck and shoulders massage, foot reflexology, full body Ayurvedic and full body sport massages. These deep and relaxing massages are guaranteed to ease the tension that is often felt in the neck, back and shoulder areas or even choose a full body to sort out all the tension from surfing.

After your massage in our Weligama or Hiriketiya camp’s you will feel rejuvenated and ready to go for another full and exciting day of surfing! As much as it is important to push yourself to improve on your surfing journey, it is equally important to take the necessary steps to recover. Just talk to our staff at the front office and they will organise an appointment for you.
